Complement Recruitment is recruiting for a HR & Payroll Administrator for a permanent position based in Isando, Johannesburg, Gauteng. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in processing payroll. The salary range is R23,000 to R25,000 CTC, with provident fund contributions and performance-based incentives.

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Matric
  • Diploma in HR or equivalent (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in processing payroll
  • Experience with Payspace and SAGE VIP Premier systems

Key Responsibilities of HR Admin

  1. Reporting & Documentation:
    • Prepare and submit HR reports to the HR Manager.
    • Submit lists of new employees to the Marketing Manager and Learning & Development Manager.
    • Submit lists of terminated employees to IT.
    • Extract requested documents for internal audits.
  2. Employee Support & ESS Management:
    • Assist employees with ESS (Payspace) registration and profile management.
    • Create mock payslips for employee review.
    • Provide branches with salary history for UIF documentation and assist with completing UIF documentation.
  3. Personnel Records & Compliance:
    • Organize and maintain personnel records (both electronic and hard copy).
    • Complete UIF documentation for Head Office staff.
    • Consolidate IR input from branches and update the Master IR Disciplinary Tracking document.
  4. Onboarding & Requisition Management:
    • Submit Head Office Staff Requisitions, EAAs, and Employee Adjustments via the onboarding app.
    • Assist with updating job descriptions.
    • Provide administrative support in updating company policies.
  5. HR Administration Support:
    • Issue employee numbers and manage (de)activation of PMN for employees.
    • Assist the HR Manager with new starter notices, access forms (Alex Forbes), and long service lists for certificates.
    • Compile documents for B-BBEE audits and support transformation officers.
    • Capture employee surveys.
  6. Compliance & Background Checks:
    • Conduct criminal, credit, and qualification checks for Head Office and selected branches.
  7. General Administration:
    • Handle various general HR administrative duties as needed.
  8. Learnership Payroll:
    • Receive payroll input from branches and process learnership payroll, then send to branches for confirmation.
    • Onboard and terminate learners on payroll.
