Are you looking for employment in the Springs area? A Head Office concern based in Springs has a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator. You will report directly to the Payroll Accountant and be responsible for ensuring effective and accurate in-house production of payroll. This includes ensuring employees are employed on time and that payslips are distributed on a weekly/monthly basis. You will also coach and mentor Payroll Clerks to promote knowledge transfer.
Minimum Requirements:
A completed Matric (with Maths and Accountancy).
A Payroll Certificate/Diploma (highly advantageous).
5 years of Payroll experience is essential.
Proven experience in processing payroll for 1000+ employees is essential.
KPI's include:
Administration of payroll information; check all payroll and leave input captured.
Compile and check variances and other relevant payroll controls before payroll finalization.
Provide Payroll Clerks and business units with the implementation of new payroll forms and processes.
Validate dismissals/resignations and verify final pay-outs.
Resolve second line enquiries timeously and effectively within SLA.
Review and sign off all interim payments.
Oversee payroll filing.
Print and distribute payslips on a weekly and monthly basis.
Plan, organize, and implement payroll processes that meet the requirements for a successful daily payroll run.
Reconcile payroll data to third-party vendors; clear reconciling items via payroll within 30 days.
Compile and distribute comprehensive month-end reports to business units.
Responsible for month-end processes, preparation, and reconciliations.
Recommend changes or implement new processes around the payroll system to meet business unit requirements.
