About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. This role will support core HR operations and compliance functions, ensuring smooth execution of key people processes. The HR Officer will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and confident in managing multiple HR functions. They should be able to work independently while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage onboarding and exit documentation, including exit interviews
  • Coordinate and submit DG applications and MICT SETA compliance
  • Support learnership and bursary administration
  • Conduct background checks and maintain employee records
  • Assist with performance reviews
  • Schedule and coordinate company-wide meetings
  • Provide regular HR reporting and maintain accurate HR trackers
  • Draft employee correspondence and verify payroll/bonus letters
  • Support payroll processing and updates in PaySpace
  • Maintain and update organizational charts
  • Assist with ISO audits and documentation

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in an HR role
  • Strong administrative and coordination skills
  • Understanding of DG funding processes and SETA requirements
  • Proficiency with HR systems and tools
  • Comfortable using various software applications
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail
