Job summary

A leading company in the Tools and Industrial supplies industry is seeking a skilled HR Officer with bookkeeping functions to join their team. The successful candidate will manage HR administration, oversee financial reconciliations, and support the finance department. This role requires strong organizational skills, fluency in Afrikaans and English, and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years' HR Officer & administration experience with bookkeeping functions.
  • Must have reliable transport.

Responsibilities

  • HR Officer duties & administration, including employee records and recruitment processes.
  • Process creditor and debtor invoices, perform reconciliations, and prepare payments.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department.

Job description

Salary : R15 000 - R20 000 CTC per month

Our Client in the Tools and Industrial supplies industry is looking for a HR Officer with Bookkeeper functions to join their team!

Job requirements :

  • Grade 12 National Certificate
  • Diploma / Certificate or relevant qualification in HR and / or Bookkeeping
  • Must have at least 3 / 4 years' HR Officer & administration experience with bookkeeping functions
  • Must be computer literate (MS Office Suite)
  • Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English
  • Must have reliable transport

Duties :

  • HR Officer duties & administration, including employee records and recruitment processes
  • Process creditor invoices, perform reconciliations, and prepare payments
  • Process debtor invoices and follow up on outstanding payments from clients
  • Manage cash books and reconcile transactions
  • Post month-end journals in the general ledger
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reconciliations and reports
  • Conduct monthly checks on fuel cards, perform reconciliations, and prepare salary schedules
