KEY TASKS
- Talent Acquisition: Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and negotiating offers. Develop and implement innovative and effective talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber candidates. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a positive and engaging experience. Coordinate orientation sessions and provide necessary resources to integrate new employees into the organization.
- HR Coordination: Serve as a point of contact for HR-related queries and issues, providing guidance and support to employees. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Engagement: Contribute to the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work culture. Conduct regular check-ins with employees to gather feedback and address concerns proactively.
- HR Administrator: Responsible for handling paperwork, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including documentation related to hiring, benefits, and performance. Implement and enforce HR policies within the organization, including communicating policy changes to employees and ensuring adherence. Participate in strategic HR planning and decision-making.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial / Organizational Psychology.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Experience: Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance.
- Experience in using HRIS systems and other HR-related software/tools.
- Familiarity with South African labour laws and HR best practices.
