Job description

TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: HR Officer within the Corporate Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Job Summary

This role involves coordinating the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle—developing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, screening and interviewing candidates, performing reference and background checks, and maintaining HRIS data and records with precision.

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Develop and update job descriptions for current and new roles
  • Advertise vacancies across internal and external platforms with strong attention to detail
  • Screen CVs and create shortlists of candidates
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, uploading project details to Wamly, conducting interviews, and providing applicants with feedback
  • Conduct employment reference checks and MIE background verifications
  • Maintain detailed interview records for HR approval packs
  • Load new hire information into the SAGE 300 People system accurately and on time
  • Manage system updates in SAGE 300 People—including reporting structures and position linking
  • Contribute to ongoing job profiling and HR system enhancements
  • Perform general HR administrative tasks

Qualifications And Skills

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources or a related field (advantageous)
  • Relevant experience (advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Proactive and eager to learn
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Drivers License: Code 08 (advantageous)
