SUMMARY:

As an HR Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the Human Resources department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and maintaining employee records.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Selection
  • Induction/Staff onboarding
  • Responsible for all payroll input
  • Assist in Implementation reviewing and drafting policies
  • Compile WSP/Annual Training Plan
  • Compile Employment Equity & BBBEE
  • Implementing Training and Development
  • Employee Benefits/Wellness
  • Assist with IOD and arranging medicals
  • HR Reporting/Administration
  • Monitor and implement Performance Appraisals
  • Assist in creating Job Profiles and Job Descriptions
  • Housekeeping
  • Perform any other related duties in the interest of CEMZA as instructed
  • Work according to Instructions / Procedures as pertaining to his/her operation function as assigned and abide by all legal (laws/by-laws) requirements / Company Policies and Practices

Minimum Requirements:

  • Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or related degree
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems (HRIS)
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Analytical thinker
  • Reasoning skills
