SUMMARY:
Global Company is looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their team.
POSITION INFO:
The HR Officer will provide essential support across all HR functions, ensuring efficient and effective management of HR processes. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, payroll administration, and compliance. The role requires someone with strong interpersonal skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Qualification in Human Resources
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR Officer or similar role
- Strong recruitment skills with experience in managing full-cycle recruitment processes
- Basic knowledge of LRA, BCEA, EEA
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and propose actionable solutions
- Knowledge of HRIS, Workday is an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Basic knowledge of payroll processing, SAGE experience is advantageous
- Results-driven team player
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and providing feedback
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs
- Assist in creating relevant job descriptions for vacant roles
- Set up interviews with hiring managers
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Ensure seamless onboarding for new hires, including orientation and documentation
- Oversee offboarding processes
Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries
- Build and maintain relationships with employees at all levels
HR Operations and Administration:
- Maintain employee records in compliance with legal requirements
- Update records on Workday
- Follow up on training requirements
- Prepare HR documentation
- Maintain confidentiality and data security
Payroll and Benefits:
- Support payroll by verifying employee data
- Assist with benefits enrollment and inquiries
- Coordinate benefit paperwork
Leave Administration:
- Process leave requests and maintain records
- Handle leave queries and reconcile balances
Policy Development and Compliance:
- Assist in updating HR policies
- Ensure legal compliance
Analytical Support:
- Analyze HR data for trends and improvements
- Create reports for management
