HR Officer Position in Parow, Cape Town
Our FMCG client is seeking an experienced HR Officer to manage various HR functions within the FMCG sector.
Responsibilities
- Managing the employee lifecycle: From recruitment to termination, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment.
- Employee relations: Address inquiries, resolve grievances, and implement disciplinary procedures.
- Payroll administration: Ensure accurate processing and record-keeping.
- Training and development: Organize onboarding and training programs.
- HR policy implementation: Develop and ensure compliance with policies and labor laws.
- Performance management: Support systems for employee evaluation.
- Employee engagement: Promote initiatives like team building and awards.
- Succession planning: Participate in leadership transition activities.
- Data reporting: Generate HR metrics reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources.
- 5+ years relevant HR experience in FMCG or similar industry.
- Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and labor laws.
- Software proficiency with HR systems like SAGE VIP and Workday is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of retail, distribution, and supply chain operations in FMCG is beneficial.
