KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Talent Management & Recruitment- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for various positions across the organization
- Develop recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the oil and gas sector
- Manage the onboarding process to ensure smooth integration of new employees
- Support career development and succession planning initiatives
Employee Relations & Compliance- Ensure full compliance with South African labour legislation and company policies
- Handle employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary procedures
- Facilitate training and development programs
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the organization
HR Administration & Operations- Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee databases
- Administer payroll, benefits, and leave management systems
- Prepare comprehensive HR reports and workforce analytics
- Support performance management processes and annual reviews
Strategic HR Support- Contribute to HR policy development and implementation
- Support organizational change management initiatives
- Assist with employee engagement surveys and improvement programs
- Collaborate with management on workforce planning strategies
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of South African labour law (LRA, BCEA, EEA, SDA)
- HR certification (SABPP, SHRM, CIPD) will be advantageous
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
- Experience with payroll systems and leave management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent report writing and presentation abilities
Personal Attributes:- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages advantageous)
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
