Job description

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
  • 5-7 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour law, HR systems proficiency, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities :

  1. Aligning HR strategies with business goals
  2. Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention while ensuring employment equity compliance
  3. Managing employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution
  4. Maintaining HR policies in line with labour laws
  5. Implementing training programs and ensuring SETA compliance
  6. Administering performance reviews and supporting managers in employee development
  7. Overseeing payroll, benefits, and compliance with SARS regulations
  8. Tracking workforce metrics and compiling statutory reports
