HR Manager - 6 month contract
Job description
Requirements :
- Bachelors degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous)
- 5-7 years of HR management experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of South African labour law, HR systems proficiency, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities :
- Aligning HR strategies with business goals
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and retention while ensuring employment equity compliance
- Managing employee relations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution
- Maintaining HR policies in line with labour laws
- Implementing training programs and ensuring SETA compliance
- Administering performance reviews and supporting managers in employee development
- Overseeing payroll, benefits, and compliance with SARS regulations
- Tracking workforce metrics and compiling statutory reports
