Roodepoort - Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Responsible for HR strategy development: Support company strategy, goals, and objectives.
- Operational management: Oversee day-to-day HR functions including IR, Training and Development, and payroll management.
- Organizational change: Identify organizational changes and develop HR policies to support them.
- Policy compliance: Ensure internal policies comply with regulatory requirements.
- Risk management: Identify HR risks and advise on mitigation strategies.
- Staff wellbeing: Oversee staff wellbeing initiatives.
- Capacity planning: Ensure effective capacity planning.
- HR systems management: Manage HR systems and administrative processes across all business areas.
- Advisory role: Guide management on disciplinary, performance, grievances, and people practices.
- Budget management: Manage HR and training budgets.
- Reporting: Conduct quarterly and annual reports on employment legislation compliance, Labour legislation, and other HR metrics.
- Data accuracy: Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data.
- Socio-economic projects: Manage socio-economic development projects and social responsibility initiatives.
- Problem-solving: Assess issues, gather information, and recommend solutions.
- Benchmarking: Maintain HR dashboards and benchmarking data.
- Compensation policies: Analyze and modify pay and benefits policies to support company goals.
- Policy development: Develop and implement human capital policies, procedures, and processes.
- Employee satisfaction: Measure and improve employee satisfaction.
- Recruitment and retention: Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning. Implement talent management programs.
- Employee relations: Manage conflict resolution and employee relations.
- Contract management: Manage contracts with service providers.
- Orientation and exit programs: Oversee onboarding and exit processes.
- Representation: Represent the company at the CCMA.
Qualification and Requirements (Minimum):
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management.
- Postgraduate degree or specialization in HR or related field.
- Proficient in MS Office (Advanced level).
- Proficiency in HR analytics and dashboards for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Payroll Software (e.g., PaySpace).
