Job description

About the Role : Join the Browns team as a Human Resources Manager, where you'll lead key HR processes to ensure a well-trained, motivated, and high-performing workforce.

This role focuses on employee engagement, talent management, and driving strategies to enhance company performance, ensuring alignment with our luxury brand standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :
  1. Recruitment & Talent Management (20%): Interview and recommend candidates aligned with company culture. Ensure proper induction and training for new recruits.
  2. Employee Engagement & Retention (30%): Build relationships with top talent and develop retention plans. Monitor employee morale and advise management on improvement strategies.
  3. Performance Management & Industrial Relations (35%): Support management in employee performance monitoring. Address performance issues proactively.
  4. Statutory Compliance (10%): Ensure full compliance with labour laws and regulations. Prevent non-compliance orders and mitigate risks.
  5. Monthly Reporting & Administration (5%): Maintain an accurate HR tracker. Process salary administration and verify payroll information.
Requirements :
  1. Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 years in an HR management role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EEA).
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS like Zoho, Sage, or SAP.
