Job description

Urgently looking for an experienced HR Manager for a company based in Roodepoort (West Rand).

Minimum of 6 years' experience required.

Degree would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and support business partners' staffing needs.
  2. Manage and ensure that all new employees are introduced to the business and understand company policies & procedures.
  3. Design and implement relevant human resources policies and procedures that promote a healthy work environment.
  4. Implement, manage, and maintain the Human Resources Information Management system.
  5. Guide and assist the business with day-to-day performance-related matters.
  6. Oversee and ensure that all industrial relations related matters are effectively managed to minimize risk.
  7. Maintain compliance and ensure that all statutory requirements are met and timely submission of relevant reports.
  8. Effectively manage HR administration.
  9. Facilitate a culture where people can grow, be innovative, and ensure top performance, thus adding value to the business through its people.
  10. Maintain compliance with all statutory and legislative local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  11. Talent management including workforce planning (job grading, job descriptions, workforce budgets), recruitment (full process), manage external recruitment partners, skills analysis and audits, performance planning and management, and talent management strategy improvement.
  12. Employee benefits; remuneration; reward programs; and succession planning with best practice principles.
  13. Facilitate promotions, bonuses, and salary increase processes.
  14. Employment Equity project leader, complete monthly reports, and present reports to the training and employment equity committee.
  15. Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and governance.
  16. Implement the Human Capital strategy aligned with the company's business strategy and strategic goals.
  17. Implement the company's diversity and inclusion initiatives, transformation, and gender equality as part of the B-BBEE strategy.
  18. Reporting: update and submit monthly HC reports for EXCO and Manco, report on employee stats, and monitor HR trends within the organization.
