Job description

HR / IR Manager required in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.

Our client in the Automotive Industry requires an HR Manager thata will oversee and drive the full spectrum of Human Resources and Talent Management within the company. This includes strategic planning, operational execution, and compliance in line with business goals.

Salary: R100 000 per month.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all HR functions:
    • Recruitment & Selection
    • Learning & Development
    • Talent Management
    • Compensation & Benefits
    • Employee Relations
    • Payroll
    • HR Policy & Compliance
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and continuously improve processes
  • Oversee offer letters, contracts, onboarding, and background checks
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Coach and support management in leadership, change, and transformation
  • Monitor performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning
  • Provide HR analytics and reports to executive leadership
  • Ensure HR practices align with legal requirements and company policy
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and grievance resolution
  • Drive learning and development planning, delivery, and evaluation
  • Handle disciplinary processes, retrenchments, and related legal matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
  • Labour Law Qualification (Essential)
  • Code 8 Driver’s License
  • 10+ years’ HR Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, SDA, EEA, etc.)
  • Experience with payroll and remuneration systems (e.g., VIP Premier)
  • Proficient in Employment Equity compliance
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure
  • Fluent in English, computer literate

Package & Remuneration:
