A leading transportation company in the Western Cape is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR, Industrial Relations, and Payroll management. Job description

Our client, a leading transportation company, seeks to employ a professional, vibrant and motivated HR Manager, with a strong background in IR and Payroll management for a large group, as well as having a background in generalist HR functions and reporting, to join this progressive and expanding professional team.

Please note that a recognised SABPP or related membership is advantageous, coupled with solid experience in a highly unionized environment being essential. Residents in the Cape Town area will receive preference.
KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

  • You will have a degree in HR or similar field, be SABPP registered and have 10 years experience in managing HR, IR and Payroll supervision a fast paced, unionized environment, with candidates from the transportation sector being ideal.
  • You will have solid expertise in managing employee wellness programmes, managing all IR and disciplinary functions, implementing policies and procedures and managing EE and related plans/reports
  • You will have solid experience in organizational planning, facilitating training and development practices and managing performance-based projects
  • Proficiency in SAP HR and Advanced Excel is essential
  • You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
