Oversee the entire hiring process and organize orientation and onboarding initiatives.
Manage labor relations and serve as a liaison for employee issues, questions, and dispute resolution.
Verify compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Organize and assist with performance management.
Oversee internal payroll records and employee benefit plans.
Manage training and development programs, including submitting Annual Training Reports (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plans (WSP), and track the success of training initiatives.
Develop strategies for employment equity.
Collaborate with other human resource specialists.
Generate regular HR reports and conduct meetings.
