HR Generalist (Half day) position available in Paarl.
Our client in Paarl is looking for an HR Generalist on a half-day basis.
Requirements:
- Relevant Degree / Diploma in Human Resources.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar position.
- Agricultural experience would be advantageous.
- Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
- Own transport.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating employee records, including personal details, employment history, performance reviews, and training records.
- Assisting with payroll and benefits, ensuring accurate salary payments, managing deductions, and administering employee benefits.
- Responding to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Managing employee absence records such as sick leave and vacation time.
- Ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
- Assisting with recruitment, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
- Onboarding new employees and facilitating orientation programs.
- Organizing training programs and maintaining training records.
- Preparing HR reports and analyzing data to identify trends.
- Managing HR databases and ensuring data accuracy.
- Handling confidential employee information with discretion.
- Supporting employee relations and performance evaluations.
