Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures within WFC & WFCU.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Support internal talent mobility, including transfers and promotions, in alignment with business needs.
- Handle offer of employment and candidate relationship management through to start date.
- Oversee new starter induction and onboarding processes.
- Maintain the company’s biometric system and monitor daily attendance.
- Ensure payroll information is accurately collated and submitted to the Payroll Specialist; serve as back-up when needed.
- Manage employee relations to support and strengthen relationships between employees, their representatives, and employers.
- Support the Production Manager with incentives management.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers on addressing performance and capability issues.
- Provide HR solutions to workforce issues, proactively identifying concerns and mitigating risks.
- Maintain organizational charts and investigate workplace concerns with employees.
- Identify and propose training and development needs; ensure completion of all regulatory and statutory training requirements.
- Process terminations and ensure timely submission of exit paperwork.
- Analyze data to improve business outcomes and participate in HR projects as needed.
- Assist other HR team members during high workload periods and coordinate staff welfare logistics.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- Relevant certificate, diploma, or degree in HR Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an HR environment, preferably in manufacturing
- Registered SDF and SETA-funded program experience advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
