Job description

Our client is a large multinational operating across the African continent, delivering innovative solutions within the technology industry.

With a strong pan-African presence and a high-performance culture, the organisation is seeking a strategic, energetic, and resilient HR Executive to lead and deliver across all aspects of human capital management.

Reporting directly to the Group Chief People Officer, this role requires a confident and capable professional who can engage and influence at the executive level, while driving critical HR operational and strategic initiatives across a matrixed multinational structure.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the effective delivery of all HR operations, ensuring best practice and alignment with the organisation's broader strategic goals.
  2. Drive organisational design and effectiveness initiatives to support growth and performance improvement.
  3. Lead and facilitate complex change management projects across functions and geographies.
  4. Provide strategic HR guidance to executive stakeholders, enabling sound decision-making and organisational agility.
  5. Oversee the attraction, acquisition, and retention of top-tier talent, aligned with transformation goals and performance delivery.
  6. Champion learning, development, and succession planning to build future-ready leadership and skills pipelines.
  7. Manage employee relations to promote a healthy, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in senior HR leadership roles, with proven impact at the executive level.
  • At least 5-7 years working in a multinational matrix environment, preferably within the technology or fast-paced sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience managing organisational design, strategic change, and international HR compliance.
  • Strong track record of building collaborative relationships and navigating complexity across geographies.
  • Ability to lead in agile environments with resilience, innovation, and commercial awareness.
Educational Requirements

Relevant postgraduate qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or Business Management (essential).
