Job Description

We are seeking an agile and hands-on HR professional to establish world-class people operations for new businesses across multiple countries.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Architect HR strategies from scratch while ensuring seamless execution across borders.
  • Design and implement end-to-end HR structures for new entities, ensuring they align with the organization's vision and goals.
  • Develop and roll out HR policies, procedures, and frameworks that can scale as the organization grows.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor local HR teams to operate effectively in a high-performance culture.
  • Act as a key driver of culture-building initiatives, fostering engagement and alignment across diverse teams.
Cross-Country Leadership & Scalability:
  • Travel extensively to oversee HR setup and implementation in multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and cultural nuances.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for resolving cross-border HR challenges, including work permits, visas, labor compliance, and expatriate support.
  • Establish a global playbook for HR operations, combining startup agility with scalable corporate practices.
Digitization & Process Optimization:
  • Spearhead the adoption of HR technology and tools, including HRIS implementation and process automation, to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Streamline workflows and standardize operational procedures across regions to ensure consistency.
Strategic HR Execution:
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to design workforce strategies that support rapid growth and expansion.
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development to ensure the business is future-ready.
  • Build a high-performing, globally aligned HR organization that drives innovation, inclusion, and excellence.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a proven record of building and scaling HR teams for new businesses or high-growth startups.
  • Expertise in developing HR systems, policies, and teams from scratch, with a focus on scalability and adaptability.
  • Deep understanding of labor law and administrative compliance, combined with experience managing cross-border HR operations.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently across countries to support new business setups and operational needs.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and inspiring across all levels of the organization.
  • Action-oriented mindset a hands-on executor who thrives in planning and implementation.
  • Fluent English is required; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in a CHRO or senior HR leadership role is highly desirable.
