Position Title: HR Coordinator

Location: 100% remote, preference for candidates from India, Southern Africa, Nigeria or East Africa.

Hours per week (average): 40 hours (100% FTE)

Responsibilities And Tasks

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our HR Manager and contribute to the overall success of our global operations. This role will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks, including supporting recruiting and onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for creating positive employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding and Offboarding:
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling as needed, ensuring paperwork is completed and filed, providing system access as appropriate.
    • Support offboarding procedures, including scheduling exit interviews and coordinating final paperwork.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees across regions and functions on HR-related matters, such as policies, procedures, and workplace concerns.
    • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Benefits Administration:
    • Together with the HR Manager and PEOs, support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, and time off policies.
  • HRIS and Data Management:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS system.
    • Under the guidance of the HR Manager, support the generation of HR reports.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    • Assist with HR compliance initiatives, and annual reporting.
    • Support the preparation of HR reports as needed.
  • Employee Engagement and Development:
    • Support initiatives to promote employee engagement, well-being, and retention.
  • Recruitment:
    • Support the recruitment cycle, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and responding to inquiries as guided by the HR Manager.
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills And Ability
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Zoom, SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrates the ability to work well with diverse colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Commitment to WomenLift Health’s mission, vision, theory of change, and unique positioning in the field.
  • May require up to 10% travel.
