A forward-thinking company in the healthcare technology sector is seeking an experienced HR Consultant to manage and deliver the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function. This position encompasses all aspects of the HR lifecycle in the organisation, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and statutory compliance.
This is a hybrid position, the HR Consultant is required to spend at least two days per week in the office (JHB North).
POSITION INFO : Description
- Provide operational HR support across all areas of the employee lifecycle.
- Assist all employees across all levels of the organisation with HR related queries and matters.
- Facilitate the recruitment of high calibre talent to drive a high-performance culture.
- Manage the recruitment process from end to end, including supplier management, sourcing (using platforms such as LinkedIn), administration, and interviewing.
- Assist with managing and co-ordinating the onboarding process.
- Coordinate and advise on labour relations matters as required, including disciplinary matters, grievances, and incapacity management.
- Represent the company at the CCMA as required.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers and employees on performance-related issues and coordinate the performance management processes.
- Maintain HR Policies and procedures and ensure compliance therewith.
- Support and assist with initiatives to ensure continued compliance to legislation.
- Assist with internal and statutory reporting requirements as required, which may include, inter alia, EE and SETA reports.
- Support and assist in the implementation of HR interventions.
- Facilitate/coordinate initiatives and education sessions related to employee wellness and employee benefits.
- Promote and drive company values in the execution of policies and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all payroll-related documentation.
- Responsible for delivering a tracking system on HR activities to report on trends and areas for intervention.
- Assist with learning and development administration as required.
- Responsible for maintaining electronic employee files as required.
- Ad hoc HR and Talent related duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist, with a minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience in a similar role (essential).
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in HR administration and recruitment (essential).
- Experience with the preparation and submission of statutory reports (EE, WSP / ATR) is highly advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Thorough knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Sound understanding of South African labour legislation and regulations.
- Excellent computer literacy, including advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Experience working with Google Workspace would be a great advantage.
- Proficient in HRIS and Payroll systems.
