Function and Business Unit: Infrastructure - PPC

Description of the role and purpose of the job:

The Functional HR Consultant assists the Functional HR Manager(s) and Strategic HR Manager with transactional and administrative tasks within the Business Units, such as collating data for HR reports and tracking performance development processes. They also handle HR-related queries concerning recruitment, transformation, leave, and timesheets. The HR Consultant acts as a custodian of HR transactional administration within the function.

Key responsibilities:

Talent acquisition:

  • Plan and execute a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the firm.

Talent Management and off-boarding:

  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Compile and report exit interview data to support business decisions.
  • Manage the offboarding process to ensure an organized and positive departure experience.

Performance Development:

  • Handle performance development system operations, including troubleshooting and system guidance.
  • Ensure open PD goals are launched for new joiners.
  • Monitor user activity, including deactivation of exited colleagues and closing forms.
  • Monitor compliance, goal setting, and reviews by generating reports.
  • Provide feedback on compliance to BU/Function.
  • Assist with BU calibration logistics.

Learning and Development:

  • Support compliance with mandatory training requirements.
  • Generate and maintain L&D reports to track training progress and completion.

Mobility:

  • Coordinate with GO Team regarding secondees' termination, extension, or permanent transfer on Oracle.

Recognition, reward, and payroll:

  • Promote participation in the Employee Recognition Program.
  • Ensure timely submission of payroll inputs, including medical certificates, and liaise with recruiters for documentation.
  • Address payroll queries and follow up for resolution.

Quality, Risk Management & Compliance:

  • Serve as custodian for KPMG PPC HR and L&D policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and promote BU compliance with mandatory training and risk declarations.
  • Update contractor training records as needed.
  • Maintain focus on quality and service excellence.

General administration:

  • Publish monthly birthday announcements via email.
  • Provide monthly colleague movement statistics to BUs.
  • Send welcome emails to new joiners.
  • Monitor mobile phone policy enforcement.
  • Provide administrative support to HR Managers as required.

Minimum requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field, or currently studying for a relevant HR qualification.
  • A bachelor's degree is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR department.
