A leading travel management company is currently looking for a HR Clerk to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess excellent administration and organizational skills, good communication and writing abilities, meticulous attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, a proactive mindset, accountability, adaptability, perseverance, stress tolerance, and excellent reporting skills.
As a HR Clerk you will be responsible for the following:
Payroll:
- Ensure that all overtime, travel claims, deductions, etc., are received by the payroll cut-off date.
- Accurately capture all payroll inputs.
- Maintain and file all relevant payroll documentation.
- Verify the accuracy of overtime calculations.
Update and Maintain HR Reports:
- Maintain termination, recruitment, IR, internship, and other HR-related reports.
Recruitment & Terminations:
- Conduct credit and criminal checks.
- Draft offer letters and employment contracts.
- Ensure timely submission of all recruitment pack documents to payroll.
- Process all termination documents and ensure proper handling.
Other Duties:
- Submit medical aid and provident fund applications and withdrawals.
- Maintain and update employee database.
- Manage the filing and upkeep of employee personnel files.
- Engage regularly with Payroll, Regional Forex Managers, Heads of Department, and staff.
- Handle employee loans and bursaries.
- Assist with audits by providing necessary information.
- Arrange meetings and interviews.
- Draft and post employment advertisements.
- Assist with daily staff queries and resolve concerns.
- Perform any other duties as required.
- Compile and submit employment equity reports.
- Manage BEE level compliance.
- Handle CCMA, IR, and ER-related tasks.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Completed Matric
- Degree in Human Resource
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in HR and Payroll
- ESS and VIP experience is essential
- Experience in IR and CCMA
