The Human Resources Division has a permanent position available for an HR Business Partner: Broker Solutions, reporting to the HR Business Partner Lead.

This position will be based at the Santam office in Johannesburg.
Role Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will align human resource strategies with business objectives, acting as a strategic partner to leadership and driving business performance through effective people management. The HRBP will provide HR consultation to assigned business units and facilitate the implementation of HR deliverables aligned with HR and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Work with senior leadership to ensure HR strategies support organizational goals, participate in business planning, and leverage data for decision-making.
- Talent Management & Acquisition: Manage talent acquisition processes, drive talent management and succession planning, and develop strategies aligned with business needs.
- Organizational Design: Partner with leadership to design organizational structures, lead workforce planning, and facilitate change management during mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
- Business Partnership: Coach managers on HR issues, provide HR advice, analyze HR data, and drive people initiatives in collaboration with HR Centers of Expertise.
- Diversity & Employment Equity: Assist in developing EE plans, implement initiatives, and track progress.
- Performance Management: Ensure alignment of performance metrics with business objectives, facilitate performance reviews, and support a high-performance culture.
- Culture & Engagement: Conduct organizational assessments, support change management, and develop programs to enhance employee engagement and well-being.
- Leadership Development: Facilitate learning and development initiatives, support employee growth, and manage related discussions and placements.
- Employee Relations & Total Rewards: Ensure policy compliance, support employee dispute resolution, and facilitate remuneration and wellness programs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Psychology, HRM, or related field (NQF 7).
- At least 7 years of HR Generalist experience.
- Ability to travel as required.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, legislation, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
