Habit Health is a nationwide healthcare provider, specialising in the rehabilitation space. We enable people to live their best lives and empower our teams to realise their full potential.

An exciting opportunity has just come up in our Wellington Head Office – we are looking for a savvy HR Advisor who sits at that intermediate level where they have generalist HR and Employee Relations skills but are looking for further exposure to every facet of the HR process through our professional development initiatives.

We are seeking a candidate who is organised, supportive and a true team player.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partnering with a portfolio on operational HR needs
  • Contribute or take the lead on HR related projects as part of the strategic plan.
  • Add value to improving our systems and procedures.
  • Manage queries and requests through a shared inbox and our HR system (ELMO), and action appropriate response in accordance with existing policies and procedures, employment-related legislation and employment agreements.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 2-4 years’ experience in an HR Advisor role across all aspects of generalist HR
  • Relatable and great at building genuine relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • Proactive – we are looking for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get things done in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work conscientiously and meet tight deadlines when needed
