Qualifications

Job description

Our client operating in the Automotive Industry is currently looking to employ an HR Administrator to be based in Uitenhage.

Requirements :

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the HR field.
  • Previous experience with handling disciplinary matters and Employment Equity Plan creation/submission.

Responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to :

  • Handling staff queries and liaising with company Provident Fund, Payroll, and Medical Providers.
  • Serving as the overall point of contact for staff inquiries.
  • Supporting recruitment for key positions, including writing job descriptions and screening candidates.
  • Supporting disciplinary procedures alongside division heads and senior management, liaising with legal advisors and external HR consultants if applicable.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Employment Equity Plan and managing other HR-related tasks such as BEE documentation and SDL Levy claims.
  • Coordinating staff training programs, planning courses with team managers, and scheduling sessions for team members.
  • Supporting new staff onboarding processes, including work contracts, payroll setup, Medical Aid transitions, and Provident Fund setup.
  • Handling Department of Labour inspections and other compliance or documentation requests as needed.
  • Supporting ISO 9001 updates and document creation.
