Job summary

Fruitways is a leading agri-business in South Africa. We specialise in the growing, packing and marketing of apples and pears to retailers, traders and wholesalers around the globe.
HR ADMINISTRATOR (GROUP SERVICES)


We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented, and proactive HR Administrator with strong administrative and coordination skills to provide essential support to our HR Team. Based in Somerset West at our Marketing Office, and reporting to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless candidate and employee experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer the end-to-end recruitment process: log requisitions, post vacancies, screen CVs, coordinate interviews and assessments.
  • Assist onboarding and induction processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
  • Support the successful execution of employee engagement initiatives and recognition events.
  • Coordinate training logistics and maintain accurate training records.
  • Maintain the Applicant Tracking System and candidate database, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Liaise with candidates, and service providers for screening, reference checks and onboarding documentation.
  • Assist employees with general HR queries on policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in HR administration, ideally with exposure to recruitment coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Proactive Team player with a customer-service mindset when engaging candidates and stakeholders
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
