SUMMARY:

Signa Opportunity is recruiting unemployed youth for quality workplace experience through the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative.

About The YES Initiative

The initiative was launched by the President in 2018 and is a partnership with the government and labour department to collectively devise a national plan to build economic pathways for South Africa’s youth by creating workplace opportunities for South African youth over a period of 12 months.

About The Role

This is a Human Resources administration role aimed at improving the strategic management of the company. The appointed person will work closely under the supervision of the Company Secretary.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in training and skill development of employees.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction, and disciplinary hearings.
  • Assist with payroll, benefits, and leave management.
  • Help create and design job descriptions.
  • Assist with performance evaluations.
  • Address issues and conflicts.
  • Manage recognition and reward systems.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of South African Labour Laws.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Age between 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated in the YES Programme before.
