Interim Commercialisation Manager
East London
£400/day (Umbrella)

We’re seeking an experienced Commercialisation Manager to join a forward-thinking local authority in East London. This is a strategic interim role supporting the launch of a new Public Protection & Integrated Enforcement Division, with a particular focus on the Integrated Enforcement Service.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the commercial strategy across enforcement and public protection functions — identifying and delivering innovative, income-generating opportunities that align with the council’s financial sustainability and community safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead commercial strategy development across Public Protection & Integrated Enforcement Services.
  • Identify, assess, and deliver new revenue streams, service models, and external partnerships.
  • Develop business cases, pricing models, and marketing plans for new services.
  • Work closely with service leads to embed commercial thinking and build commercial capability across teams.
About You:
  • Strong background in community safety, regulatory services, or enforcement, with insight into the sector’s challenges and commercial potential.
  • Demonstrated success in identifying commercial trends, new markets, and income-generation opportunities.
  • Strategic mindset with proven leadership in commercial development, ideally in public sector or similarly complex environments.
