Job summary

African Echoes Recruitment is seeking an experienced Housekeeping & Laundry Manager for a luxury safari lodge in the Sabi Sands region. You will lead both departments, maintain impeccable guest room presentation, and drive service standards across the property.

The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and proven ability to manage linen, stock, and safety compliance. Live-in accommodation is provided, with opportunities to develop a high-caliber team in a remote Mpumalanga lodge.

Qualifications

• RSA ID and legal residence essential
• 2–3 years' experience in a Housekeeping Management role within a luxury lodge or hotel
• Proven experience managing housekeeping and laundry operations
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Strong administration and stock control experience
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards
