Job Description

Scope of Position:

Housekeeping Attendants are responsible for performing a combination of tasks to maintain the hotel’s cleanliness. The Housekeeping Attendant contributes to a pleasant and positive Guest experience that meets the established standards of the hotel.

Specific duties, responsibilities & Key performance areas

• Know, understand, and demonstrate all Accor satisfaction standards.
• Clean all mirrors, glasses, inside of windows, vents; stock paper supplies; wipe and clean marble, tables, surfaces; keep brass shiny; perform cleaning tasks to maintain Brand Standards.
• Follow signing in/out procedures for keys.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs as needed.
• Report maintenance needs.
• Dust upholstered furniture.
• Wipe baseboards as needed.
• Use proper safety precautions during all tasks.
• Assist Guests and colleagues courteously.
• Perform routine daily tasks.
• Report Lost & Found items.
• Maintain good relations with colleagues.
• Keep public restrooms clean and stocked.
• Clean walls, doors, and public areas.
• Replenish soap/lotion dispensers.
• Manage linen and supplies efficiently.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special requests.
• Report hazards and equipment issues.
• Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards.
• Attend pre-shift briefings.
• Complete assigned room turn-downs efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
