Job Responsibilities
- Liaise with Marketing, PA’s and Social Committee on clearly understanding the requirements and timelines for internal events and important meetings.
- Take the lead role in ensuring preparation and execution of the requirements with the timelines provided.
- Keep the Facilities Manager up to date on progress.
- Utilize and organize the Housekeeping team to meet requirements, while maintaining daily tasks.
- Follow own cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure cleanliness.
- Clean specific areas regularly (e.g., bathrooms, kitchens).
- Complete smaller tasks like dusting and emptying trash bins.
- Prepare refreshments (coffee, tea, water, etc.) for managers and visitors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment including proper storage and disposal of cleaning materials.
- Ensure adequate supplies for cleaning and catering tasks.
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects when needed.
- Lead and coordinate the housekeeping team for events and meetings and liaise with key role players.
- Follow safety protocols when using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Report maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Demonstrate professionalism when interacting with colleagues and visitors.
- Stay updated on best practices for cleaning.
Reports to: Maintenance Manager
Desired Qualifications
- Must have a good rapport and be well-spoken in English.
- Must be able to take instructions concerning internal events and meetings and execute accordingly.
- Must have previous experience being involved in formal events and meetings in the workplace.
