Housekeeper/Cleaner
Purpose
To maintain a clean, hygienic, and orderly environment within offices and facilities, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for employees, clients, and visitors. The Housekeeper/Cleaner plays a vital role in supporting workplace health and safety standards and enhancing the overall image of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces in office areas, meeting rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in restrooms and kitchens.
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, elevator buttons, and shared equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass partitions, and interior glass doors.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the Admin Operations Manager.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and responsibly.
- Assist with setting up and cleaning after corporate events, meetings, or special functions.
- Support pest control efforts by maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and waste disposal areas.
- Respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests or spills.
