Job description

We are looking for a reliable, honest, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in private residences or guest properties in the Kyalami, Midrand, or Sandton areas. The ideal candidate must be trustworthy, punctual, and able to perform a variety of housekeeping duties with a high standard of hygiene and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities :

Daily cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces.

Laundry : washing, ironing, and folding clothes and linens.

Changing bed linens and making beds.

Running errands and basic shopping, if required.

Deep cleaning tasks on a weekly or monthly basis.

Keeping inventory of cleaning products and household supplies.

Reporting any maintenance issues to the employer or property manager.

Requirements

Prior experience in a housekeeping or domestic role (minimum 2 years preferred).

Ability to use cleaning tools, equipment, and products safely and correctly.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Trustworthy and respectful of confidentiality and property.

Good communication skills in English or local South African language(s).

Physically fit and able to manage the demands of the role.

Additional Requirements :

Must live in or near Kyalami, Sandton, or Midrand .

Must have reliable transport to / from work (if not live-in).

South African ID or valid work permit is essential.
