Job description

The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary and welcoming environment in all guest rooms and public areas. The role requires attention to detail a strong work ethic and a commitment to providing guests with an exceptional stay.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Room Cleaning : Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards including making beds changing linens dusting surfaces vacuuming carpets and sanitising bathrooms.
  • Public Area Maintenance : Ensure cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies hallways and restrooms.
  • Laundry Management : Handle laundry duties including washing drying folding and delivering linens and towels.
  • Inventory Control : Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities; report any shortages or maintenance issues promptly.
  • Guest Interaction : Provide friendly and professional service to guests responding to special requests and addressing concerns.
  • Health and Safety Compliance : Follow all health and safety protocols in the handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • EndofStay Cleaning : Conduct thorough cleaning after guests check out to prepare rooms for new arrivals.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with front desk staff and maintenance teams to coordinate room turnovers and guest requests.

Ideal candidates will have previous cleaning or housekeeping experience be reliable and have a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
