House Manager / Head Housekeeper opportunity - Johannesburg, South Africa

A truly global partner of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an Estate Manager to oversee the staff & operations of 3 locations based in and around Johannesburg, South Africa. Our client is seeking only those with UHNW experience in a similar role, ideally managing residences in the UK, Europe or the USA.

Duties:

• Management of the Main residence, including Housekeeping and household Admin
• Procurement of all items needed to maintain the upkeep of the residence
• Lead a team of Housekeepers, hands-on, leading from the front
• Assisting with Service
• Assisting with cooking on rare occasions
• Basic PA duties on occasion

To be considered:

• You Must have experience as a Hands-on manager of housekeepers and household staff
• You must be South African or have a valid long term work permit
• Seeking those with experience inheriting, long term, loyal staff
• Must be emotionally intelligent and lead from the front, not with authority
• Ideally seeking those with UK, Europe or USA experience, although will consider those who have worked for private families in the Middle East
• Ideally be a Driver

• Salary of circa £40,000 Gross per annum (83,600 ZAR gross per month)
