House Manager – Private Household (Bryanston)Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced House Manager to oversee the operations of a prestigious private residence in Bryanston.

This is a live-in position, with accommodation provided in a private apartment within the main residence.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for day-to-day household operations and deliver exceptional service in a discreet and professional manner.Salary : R50, per month (Negotiable, dependent on experience) Location : Bryanston Job Type : Full-time, Live-in Travel : Primarily South Africa, occasional international travel may be requiredKey Responsibilities : Greet guests on arrival, arrange and serve welcome refreshmentsManage all daily household operations with precision and discretionCoordinate all travel logistics, including liaising with security teams and private pilotsReconcile and replenish household stock and inventoryLiaise with the private chef to coordinate meal schedules and preferencesOversee dry cleaning, wardrobe maintenance, and ensure clothing is organised and presentable at all timesMaintain communication with staff across other residences to coordinate arrivals and ensure consistency in service standardsSupervise and direct domestic staff to ensure smooth and efficient household functioningEnsure that the residence is guest-ready at all timesRequirements : Previous experience as a House Manager, Butler, or in a similar private household roleStrong organisational and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail with a service-orientated approachDiscretion, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all timesFlexibility to travel locally or internationally as requiredProfessional demeanour and excellent communication skillsValid passport (or ability to obtain one quickly – assistance will be provided)This is an outstanding opportunity for a polished, capable professional to join a sophisticated household and contribute to an environment of excellence and comfort.
