Job description

Orion Hotels and Resorts (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd seeks to employ Sales Executives who will be responsible for sales growth of the business through the acquisition of new customers from various sectors (Leisure, Industrial, Mining, Corporate, Government, Tour Groups, etc.) as well as expanding the existing customer base to ensure long-lasting customer relationships across all sectors.

The available positions of Sales Executives are based at Head office; however, it could be required of incumbents to be able to travel to various sites located across South Africa for sales purposes and be away from home for extended periods of time.

Successful candidates must be confident, well-organised and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team. They must also be prepared to travel to clients for personal face-to-face meetings.

Hospitality experience will be an added advantage.

The ideal candidates will have a strong sales approach, the ability to drive new business, develop existing relationships, and reach agreed sales targets consistently.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Own, reliable car and driver's license.
  2. Own laptop.
  3. 2 (Two) or more years' experience in sales or similar.
  4. Computer literate.
  5. Ability to sell.
  6. Ability to work independently.
  7. Mission-driven.
  8. Prepared to travel extensively.
  9. Strong people and communication skills essential.
  10. MUST HAVE sales experience in the Hospitality industry - not negotiable.
  11. Face-to-face selling is what is required.

We are not looking for a tele-sales agent or a key accounts manager.

These are not hybrid or work-from-home positions.

The positions offer a Basic Salary plus Commission.
