Key Responsibilities
Guest Arrival & Departure Assistance
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with luggage.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing a professional introduction to facilities and services.
  • Assist with departures, ensuring luggage is handled efficiently.
Front-of-House Support
  • Provide courteous assistance to guests with directions, transport arrangements, and hotel information.
  • Deliver messages, parcels, and amenities promptly to guest rooms.
  • Support concierge and reception teams as needed.
Service Excellence
  • Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive, friendly service.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, ensuring their comfort at all times.
  • Maintain a professional, polished, and approachable appearance.
Operational Duties
  • Ensure the lobby, entrances, and luggage storage areas remain clean and organised.
  • Handle guest property with care, ensuring security and accountability.
  • Assist with general hotel operations and support other departments when required.
Requirements
  • Previous porter, bellman, or guest services experience in a hotel environment advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift and carry luggage.
  • Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.
  • Friendly, service-oriented personality with strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
