SUMMARY:

A 5-star Boutique Hotel in Ballito is seeking a Hotel Manager. The Hotel Manager will support the General Manager in supervising all hotel departments to ensure smooth operations aligned with the hotel leadership's plans and standards. The role involves ensuring team members develop professionally and uphold the standards of competence, professionalism, excellence, protocol, and etiquette.

The Hotel Manager is responsible for implementing and monitoring systems that enable departments to deliver outstanding hospitality, anticipate guest needs, and respond effectively to individual guest requirements. They will ensure that departmental standards are consistently met and assist in executing daily organizational plans.

**Position Responsibilities:**

Front Office: Manage reception operations, guest greeting, check-in/out procedures, reservation accuracy, communication, and safety protocols.

Food & Beverage: Oversee F&B operations, guest interactions, billing, and inventory management.

Housekeeping: Maintain high cleanliness standards, room servicing, and stock checks.

Maintenance: Follow up on urgent issues, log work orders, and ensure completion.

Health & Safety: Conduct audits, hold meetings, and address concerns.

Human Resources: Assist with staff recruitment, training, and file management.

Administration: Ensure compliance with policies, monitor budgets, manage rostering, and report submissions.

**Requirements:**
- Grade 12
- Diploma in Hotel Management or related field
