Job description

Food and Beverage Supervisor

Our client in the Hospitality industry is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  1. Effectively handle guest complaints
  2. Assist with rostering, taking into consideration forecast, wage cost, staff requests, etc.
  3. Ensure staffing levels are adequate for the next service period, adjusting the roster where necessary
  4. Ensure beverage cost is maintained to budget
  5. Report any shortages in equipment to the manager
  6. Conduct staff training including induction and product knowledge
  7. Counsel staff if not performing to the Outlet's standards
  8. Attend and actively participate in necessary meetings
  9. Be able to take charge of the outlet/area in the absence of the Manager
  10. Daily stock ordering
  11. Flexibility to work in all F&B areas
Desired Experience & Qualification
  1. Degree or diploma in hospitality management or related field.
  2. Supervisory/managerial role in F&B department, preferably in a four-star hotel.
  3. Experience in rostering, staff scheduling, and managing staffing levels.
  4. Ability to manage beverage costs within budget.
  5. Conducting staff training, including induction and product knowledge.
  6. Capable of taking charge in the absence of the Manager, making decisions, and leading a team.
  7. Effective communication in meetings and with the team.
  8. Willingness to work in all F&B areas.
  9. Understanding of the food and beverage industry, trends, and best practices.
