Hotel Accountant
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the Hotels and Food & Beverage Finance team.
- Oversee daily revenue reconciliation for hotel and food & beverage operations.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial procedures.
- Review and authorize the Daily Revenue and Food & Beverage Cost Reports.
- Handle financial queries and discrepancies effectively.
- Post month-end journals and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Support the Financial Controller with accounting-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in Opera, Micros, and MS Excel (ACCPAC knowledge is an advantage).
- Strong supervisory, analytical, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
