Job summary

Craven Cottage CC is seeking a procurement professional to manage daily purchasing and supplier relationships within our Pretoria hotel. You will source food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, guest amenities, and operational items, while benchmarking prices and negotiating terms.

You will monitor stock levels, coordinate with departments, and drive cost-saving initiatives. Strong negotiation, ERP familiarity and reliable transport are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 3-5 years' purchasing experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Experience using hotel procurement, inventory or ERP systems.
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing and procurement activities across the hotel.
• Source food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, guest amenities and other operational requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations, benchmark prices and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Develop relationships with approved suppliers and identify alternative suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality, delivery times and service levels.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
