Job summary

Placements24 is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for large-scale industrial construction projects around Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. You will oversee cost control from initial estimates to final accounts, liaising with project teams to ensure commercial success.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant qualification and 3–5 years of hospitality or related experience, with strong analytical and leadership skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Hospitality, business or related qualification is advantageous.
• 3–5 years' experience in hospitality/food & beverage or restaurant operations.
• Previous management experience with staff and business performance responsibility.
• Strong commercial awareness and budgeting/cost control knowledge.
• Knowledge of stock management, purchasing and supplier coordination.
• Proven leadership and ability to develop teams.
