Job description

Hire Resolve's client, a well-established guesthouse, is seeking a highly skilled hospitality manager responsible for managing all aspects of two guest houses. This includes breakfast service, handling reservations, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and providing support across all operational areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee construction, fitting, and finalization phases.
  • Lead a small team to ensure a high standard of service.
  • Oversee daily operations: guest relations, housekeeping, breakfast service, maintenance, sales, and marketing, including social media.
  • Utilize Nightsbridge software for bookings, check-ins, check-outs, and invoicing.
  • Ensure guest rooms meet the highest cleanliness and comfort standards.
  • Manage inventory, stock, and report necessary maintenance work.
  • Handle guest complaints efficiently and manage online reviews.
  • Oversee accounting duties, including daily cash-up, petty cash, and monthly reconciliation.
  • Manage staff scheduling and rostering, ensuring accurate payroll submission.
  • Understand and manage budgets; report monthly on financial performance.
  • Motivate staff, maintain relations, schedule duties, and provide ongoing training.
  • Collaborate with owners to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.

Requirements:

  • Hospitality Diploma or Degree.
  • Matric with above-average pass.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, email, social media, and Nightsbridge.
