Job description

Hospitality Manager position available in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction
  • Lead, train, and motivate a front-of-house and hospitality team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage sales performance and implement strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor stock levels and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain operational efficiency
  • Develop and maintain hospitality SOPs and ensure team adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate coverage during peak times
  • Liaise with suppliers and manage cost-effective procurement practices
  • Track KPIs, prepare regular reports, and present performance updates to senior management
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely, professional manner
  • Work closely with marketing to support promotions and seasonal campaign

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a hospitality or food & beverage management role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets
  • Solid understanding of stock control and inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, responsible, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in hospitality management software or POS systems is a plus
  • Relevant qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred
