Job description

A vacancy exists for a Management Secretary at Life The Glynnwood Hospital, reporting to Hendrik Swartz, Hospital Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Hospital Manager and management team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Diary management
  2. Typing and formatting correspondence and documents in MS Word
  3. Creating and updating spreadsheets in MS Excel
  4. Designing presentations in MS PowerPoint
  5. Managing and maintaining an efficient filing system
  6. Taking minutes at meetings and maintaining accurate records
  7. Coordinating travel arrangements
  8. Handling telephonic inquiries
  9. Organizing meetings, interviews, functions, and conferences
  10. Interfacing professionally with internal and external stakeholders
  11. Managing mail, courier services, and general administrative duties
Requirements
  • Secretarial Diploma (advantageous)
  • Minimum of 4 years secretarial experience
  • Proven proficiency in MS Office
  • Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
