Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our healthcare team as a Hospital Porter. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the movement of patients to and from various departments, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Transporting medical equipment, specimens, and other materials as required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of transport areas and equipment.
• Collaborating with nursing and medical staff to prioritize and fulfill transport requests.
• Adhering to health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations and assisting as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
